Thank you, my Nordic Secret Friend!
I got the packet from my Nordisk Hemmelig Venn yesterday and look what I got! It's a basket full of goodies! Thank you, Karine!
Karine was my secret friend in the first round. I sent her a cap, socks and wrist warmers - and a knitted elephant!

I got four balls of Du Store Alpakka's Nanuk alpaca yarn with a pattern for a cap and wrist warmers. I love the yarn! It's so warm and cuddly and soft... I think I could knit in Norwegian, after all, I've already managed to knit a bag in Danish from the yarn and pattern Elisabeth sent me.
Well, of course the cats thought that they yarn was irresistible, too. (Maxi also says thank you for the ribbon, it was good for the split second he was able to chew it!) I guess the only time I'm able to take a picture without a cat in it is when I try to take a picture of a cat in purpose.

I guess the lamb was just too cute and not scary enough to keep the cats away... The lamb was safely tucked into one ball of yarn and it'll find its place next to my knitting lamb on the bookshelf.

I also got some cool paper napkins! They've got the star/snowflake pattern and also some reindeer. Wow!
The basket also contained some chocolate and candy, but I already ate the candy so I can't show it to you. But I can tell you it was good!
I just love this Secret Friend swap! On the last days I've been thanking Renate who's managing the second round. She sent me mittens and a scarf on the first round and they've been keeping me warm now that the weather's been cold again. No freezing fingers - that's an amazing feeling!
