Beyond instant gratification
Wow, now I've surprised myself! I started a new sweater from the Arcobaleno yarn (80% wool, 20% acrylic) I bought from Tallinn in October.
This is going fast, too fast, actually. I'm knitting on 8 mm needles (those happened to be there after I finished the Fjord sweater and the yarn called for 7-8 mm needles) and I've already finished the front and back. This sweater will have raglan sleeves, so everything goes even faster after the armhole shaping.
Also, the yarn just seems to last and last, I've used only two 100 g balls now!
I haven't even been knitting all day long. I've just been knitting on the regular times: on Sunday when I watch Farscape and Star Trek: TNG on TV (and sometimes also Iron Chef) and well, the latest season of American Idol just started, too...
What can I say? Thank you, 8 mm needles!
