Me too, me too, me too
This is a me too entry, so prepare yourself for a déjà vu.
Many people have bought and liked these books. Me too! I just cannot remember when I bought these...
Beads, Buttons and Lace is guaranteed Rowan quality. I like it! I really like it. Victorian Lace Today is also a lovely book full of lovely lace scarves. Now, all I need to do is buy a mansion in the English countryside so I can walk in my garden wrapped up in different lace scarves and cardigans.
If you think you saw a tail in the picture, you were right.
This is my Swallowtail Shawl (pattern from some Interweave Knits). It is really mine - Mini just seems to think otherwise.
Lastly the third me too: Shetland Triangle.
The Shetland Triangle pattern is from the Wrap Style book and completes one more episode in my "knit all the popular lace scarves shown in blogs" project. I knitted the scarf from Alvita Silkid (75% mohair, 25% silk, resembles Kidsilk Haze) and the scarf took three balls, that is, 75 grams. The scarf is, like the Swallowtail Shawl, approximately 180 cm wide and, like the Swallowtail Shawl, I ran out of yarn and was not able to knit last four rows or so.
And yes, the tail you saw was actually Maxi's.
