Christmas party
They say that in the Christmas parties people tend to cheat on their spouses quite easily. That's true. I have a confession to make.
See, our company's Christmas party this year was a cruise to Sweden. it's when you share a cabin with your colleague, you eat a lot and drink some, you see how many people can squeeze into one cabin to have a cabin party, you hang out in the boat's night club(s), you feel a little sea sick... Then you spend a day in Stockholm and come back feeling tired and poor after spending all of your money in the shops.
You also meet new people and take them to spend the night in your cabin. This guy ended up in ours.
We sure had a good time. I met him in SF Bokhandel and he immediately decided to join me. I also took him yarn shopping but I don't know if he pulled one of his jedi tricks or what because this is all I ended up with.
That's one hank of Hedängens schalgarn (100 g / 400 metres), a wool yarn that wants to be a scarf, and one hank of Morbaer silke (100 g / 600 m), a silk yarn that just wanted to come home with me.
We came back to Finland this morning. I have to admit that Dark Lords of the Sith truly are evil because as soon as he saw Jussi, he wanted to join him at work so that's where he's going. Well, at least I can treasure our moments together and remember what fun we had together shopping and travelling in the metro and joining the cabin parties and... Sigh.
