First thanks, then a meme

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Better late than never, don't you think?

Thanks to Kristiina for donating these three caps and a pair of socks to poor children. These are so cute! My favourite is the blue and white cap with bobbles in the bottom right corner. I also like the idea of using reflective ribbon - it's dark here in wintertime so it's good to be noticed easily.

The meme

I got this from Tiina. it finally came to me, too.

What is your all time favourite yarn to knit with?
This is difficult! My latest favourite is Jo Sharp Silkroad Ultra because it is so soft. I like wool and especially soft wool.

Your favourite needles?
Addi circulars. Definitely.

The worst thing you've ever knit?
Do mittens, socks and sweaters I knitted at school count? Nowadays I usually give up early enough, so if I do not have to finish it, I won't... So, I go for the burgundy sweater in fisherman's rib I knitted for my ex-boyfriend. It had huge puffy sleeves but really tight wrists. Or it could be the chenille cardigan with cables and bobbles that went all wrong and shed when I tried to rip it.

Your most favourite knit pattern? (Maybe you don't like wearing it...but it was the most fun to knit)
Rogue. It was fun to knit.

Most valuable knitting technique?
Knitting on circulars. I also like small tricks that make your life easier such as the three-needle bind-off.

Best knit book or magazine?
I cannot say. I like Elsebeth Lavold's Viking Patterns for Knitting and I prefer books with knitting patterns, such as the Harmony Guides.

Your favourite knit-a-long?
I have only participated in the Mystery Shawl Knitalong and I'm afraid I was not very active. I did finish the scarf!

Your favourite knit blogs?
The Finnish knitblogs.

Your favourite knitwear designer?
I guess I do not have any. Unfortunately. I like classic knits such as traditional fairisle and cable sweaters.

The knit item you wear the most? (How about a picture of it!)
At the moment it must be the mystery shawl, I wear it at work because it is cold there.

Sneak preview

Kristiina knows what this is. The rest of you have to keep guessing.
