Shopping in Belgium
I did buy something from Belgium.
I got Lang Pearl which is 42% kid mohair, 54% acryl and 4% polyester. I know, the amount of natural fibers is less than 50% but the colour was so lovely. Yes, that's all the yarn I got (represented by two balls out of ten). The shop, in fact the only shop that was open when we got there, is called Art et Fil and it's located on Rue du Bailly.
I decided to practise Flemish and bought the Filati magazine. At least the pictures are nice! I also found a cross-stitch book and an embroidery book from a cheap book shop (whatever its name was, I forgot). I could use the cute traditional patterns and the ethnic patterns in knitting. (I think Anne showed the very same books a while ago. We were in the book shop together.)
Then I got the flower loom! This is an advaced model because you can make square yarn flowers as well. Didn't see those in my youth...
Here's my very first square flower loom flower.
Now I know what I'm going to do with some American yarn...
