Where to start?

Yarn! I bought yarn! Who would have seen that coming?

Get Knitted had special offers. First Jo Sharp Silkroad Ultra and then Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran (85% wool, 10% silk, 5% cashmere). Yes, I was weak again. And again. I got the Ultra in three shades because there wasn't enough of one: Clinker (the dark one; it's most likely dark blue but it sometimes looks grey), Cardomon (the yellowish one) and Salsa (the more orangeish one. They will most likely be a striped sweater or a cardigan, I'm planning on using the Random Stripe Generator. The brownish yarn at the back is the Aran, shade Casket. I have to check if the tension would be right for Eris.

But what are the extra balls that are not in the plastic bags? Well, Kristel and I happened to find ourselves in the local yarn shop Menita and as those were on sale... That's Grignasco Tango (50% virgin wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose) and I only got one grey ball of it - and some more in two shades of pink.

But let's not forget the accomplishments! I finished the front and back of the Vöyri sweater as well as the collar.

The yarn just lasts and lasts. I'm still knitting the first 100 g hank of blue yarn and the second 100 g hank of white yarn. Jussi is glad that he doesn't help me with the ball winding... And yes, the collar is supposed to roll like that, at least according to the picture and instructions it is!

Also, the knitted cat is still doing catlike things. As my neighbour kindly pointed out in the comments, a knitted cat can also spy on your the people living in the same building.

(If you hear a meow from our balcony, it's not me, it's the knitted cat. Believe me. It's the knitted cat. It's sending its greetings to our charming Siamese neighbours Ada and Fiitu.)
