My first Noros

Nanna happened to mention a while ago that we are not supposed to go and see Kangaroo's Special Offers, or at least she is not telling us to do so in no way whatsoever.

Well... The Kureyon just was so cheap. This is shade 124, it's got the lovely reds and lilacs I like.

Later I continued to Get Knitted for some Silk Garden. When the doorbell rang (it was the postman who kindl delivered the packet to our door), Jussi said, "it's yarn for you". How could he tell? (Guess what, today he also told the joke I've heard other knitter's husbands, boyfriends and SOs tell: "Should you knit the yarn in your stash* before you buy new yarn?")

This is shade 86. Now, should I go and buy the Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton Collection book 2 so I could make Klaralund?

* If I have yarn for, say, 30 sweaters (could that be?) and knitting a sweater would take three weeks, I would be done in 90 weeks which is less than two years!

Hej,

I just saw your blog from searching for a yarnshop in Tallinn (I'll go there tomorrow for a 4 day trip). I just had a brief look at your site and saw that you are thinking of making Klaralund. I made that last summer and I love the sweater. The yarn is very fun knitting in - both the quality and the changing of the colors, just make you want to knit a few more rows to see how it turns out. If I remeber correcly I made it in 211 (or 213) anyway a shade with strong colors in it and I like it a lot. Good luck to you!
