Thanks to my 4th NHV2!
I got this cap from Ragnhild in Norway. Thank you very much!
The cap is black and has lovely yellow and orange stripes. I love the orange colour, it is so sunny and lovely! This cap will most certainly keep my head warm next winter.
But why does the photo look so bad? Because now I get to brag about another gift... Jussi surprised me and bought me a new mobile phone (isn't he the best?) with a decent camera and this photo was taken with it. (Well, the photo is a bit soft and dark, but anyway, it isn't the best shot taken with the phone... Do you want to see all the photos I've taken of the cats for comparison's sake?)
I just love new gadgets and I love my new mobile phone. I had planned on buying a new phone for years now, but the ones I wanted were always too expensive at first. For example Nokia's first camera phone cost 800 euros - but with 800 euros you can get a good digital camera and a good mobile phone, why buy a phone with a not-that-good camera just because it's a phone with a camera? (Err... Maybe just because of that?)
Anyway, every time the price of an interesting phone started to be reasonable, there was always a new, more interesting phone coming to the market, so I always decided to wait for it instead because I wanted something special. Didn't I say that I love gadgets? Besides, I had used my good old Nokia 5110 for maybe 4-5 years. It worked well (it still does), there were never any problems and the battery lasted for a long time, so why should I change it for something I wasn't sure I really wanted?
Then Jussi said that I have been talking about getting a new mobile phone for ages and will buy a new one only when they ramp down the GSM network and I can't use my phone anymore... And bought me a new phone. I'm so happy!

Hej Elisabeth, jag är glad att du tycker om garnet! :)
Jag var med i Världsstickardagen i Hagalund i Esbo (men det var många som stickade i Helsingfors också) och vi hade det roligt. Jag räknade inte, men jag tror att det var 10-15 av oss. Vädret var solig, men för blåsig så efter en stund vi beslutade att sitta i det nära caféet.

idag har jag börjat sticka av garnet jag fick av dej, det ska bli en Möbiussjal.
Vi hade Världsstickardagen i Linköping, men eftersom det hade regnat så mycket var vi inne på det kafé där vi vanligtvis har våra stickcaféer.
Garnet är härligt att sticka med och färgen är perfekt. Och Möbius är roligt att sticka, när man bara gjort det första varvet! ;-)
