Yarn! Yes, it's yarn!
Yes, that's yarn. The stash reduction project ended yesterday and I went and bought some yarn for the knitted Nordisk Hemmelig Venn project as we went grocery shopping. To keep you unaware of what exactly I'm going to knit (who knows, you could be my secret friend!) I bought also some sale yarn because the colours reminded me of candy.
Now you can guess what yarn is what. I'm not telling!
That sale yarn, that's an interesting concept. If my memory serves me right (yes, that's a quote from Iron Chef), I've never seen that yarn before! I've never heard of it. Then how come it can have a sale price and a normal price?
I may be wrong with the price issue, but anyway, the yarn is one of the mysterious Novita yarns that are about 50-100% acrylic and that just appear during a big sale at the local supermarket and then disappear never to be seen again. Well okay, there was one yarn, Rustika, that returned the next year and was also found pretending to be Norwegian and called Cool Flamme...

Nii-in, ja joka kerta Novitalta tulee eri lankaa... Pitääkin katsoa illan Diili, mitähän bisnestä siellä keksitään?
Ollaan siis mietiskelty täsmälleen samaa asiaa, eli mistä ilmestyy ihan uppo-outoja Novitan lankoja Anttilaan. Myös Vapaa Valinnassa on välillä vastaavia ilmiöitä havaittavissa...
Novita-tuntemukseni on ainakin 15 v. vanhaa ja vaikken varmasti kaikkia lankoja muistakaan niin väittäisin että jonkun pitäisi herättää joitain muistamisen merkkejä päässä. Siis jos näitä em. lankoja olisi joskus ollut kaikkien taiteen sääntöjen mukaan markkinoilla.
