Living on the... I mean Knitting on the Edge

I wonder why the jukebox in my head keeps playing Aerosmith...

Anyway, because so many people (*Cough*Susanna*cough*) around here seemed to like this book, I decided to trust them and buy it because once again work was frustrating and I needed to comfort myself.

(My apologies for the great amount of paws and tails, the rascal brothers were on a photogenic mood again.)

At first I didn't like Knitting on the Edge by Nicky Epstein. I browsed it at a knitting meet-up and wasn't too impressed. I had been thinking about ordering the book and then decided not to do it.

I'm glad I changed my mind! This needs to be read with time. It wasn't all knitted leaves and that kind of "decorative stuff but not for me", but it is actually a source for many good ideas. My first (but possibly not that original) idea was to get wool that felts (maybe my Huopanen leftovers) and knit the spirals Kati had knitted.

By the way, lately knitting has gone over the edge as well...
