FO sightings
We have finished objects! (Click the pictures to enlarge.)
First, a cap in knit 2, purl 2 rib to match Jussi's socks and my Rogue. I used the very last leftovers of Natura (50 g or so) for this.
Then a scarf to match another pair of Jussi's socks, presented here by the mandatory cat brothers.
Cap
Size: man's; head circumference 60 cm, length from the top to the edge 22 cm.
Yarn: Marks & Kattens Natura, apprx. 50 g (you may need a little more than 50 g)
Needles and tension: on 4 mm needles knit 2, purl 2 rib; when slightly streched 20 s = 10 cm
Cast on 120 sts. Knit rib in the round (using DPNs or a circular needle).
Decreases
1st decrease round: When the work measures 17 cm, purl 2 together throughout the whole round (*knit 2, p2tog*, repeat *-*). You get k2, p1 rib. (90 sts left)
Continue in pattern for the next 6 rounds.
2nd decrease round: Knit 2 together throughout the round (*k2tog, p1*, repeat *-*). You get k1, p1 rib. (60 sts left)
Continue in pattern for one round.
3rd decrease round: decrease 2 thoughout the whole round (*sl 1, k2tog, psso*, repeat *-*). (20 sts left)
Continue in pattern for one round.
4th decrease round: *k2tog*, repeat *-* (10 sts left)
Break yarn, leave a end long enough for weaving. Pull the yarn though the remaining sts, tighten, cast off well.
(Note: try at your own risk)
