Valmis Wingspan - Finished Wingspan

PIkakelauksella tähän hetkeen: Wingspan valmistui jo huhtikuun loppupuolella.
Fast forward to present moment: Wingspan was finished at the end of April.

Käytin yhden kerän Zauberballia, väri Brombeere. 4,5 mm puikot taisivat olla hieman liian isot, koska neulepinnasta tuli harvaa ja huivissa on kolmioita yksi vähemmän kuin ohjeessa. Muuten huivi on varsin kiva.

I used one ball of Zauberball in the colourway Brombeere. The 4.5 mm needles were apparently too big because the finished fabric was loose and the scarf has one triangle less than in the pattern. Otherwise the scarf is nice.

Valokuvaus oli - kuten aina - hankalaa, mutta onneksi joskus mieleen jää neuvo tai kaksi. Nämä kuvat on otettu olohuoneen ikkunan äärellä niin, että verhot ovat kiinni ja päivä paistaa. Kamerakurssilla opetettiin lukitsemaan valotus tietyn kohdan mukaan ja nyt siitä oli hyötyä: tässä valotus on mitattu tummasta huivista, joten tausta ylivalottuu hauskasti.

Taking photographs was - as always - challenging but fortunately you sometimes learn a new trick or two. These pictures were taken by the living room window with the curtains closed and the sun shining outside. At a camera course we were taught to measure the exposure from one point and lock it. Here the point was the dark scarf so the background is overexposed which look quite cool to me.
