Aikamatkustusta - Time travelling
Tässä tuntee joutuneensa aikakoneeseen. Joulu on jo ensi viikonloppuna! Mihin ihmeeseen aika hurahtaa? Jonnekin se katoaa. Ilmeisesti postipaketit varastavat aikaa, koska niillä ei ole mikään kiire saapua tänne, sen sijaan omat päivät tuntuvat hujahtavan ohi niin, ettei niitä edes huomaa. Yleensä tilaukset Euroopasta saapuvat 3-5 päivässä, mutta nyt yksi Play.comin paketti on nyt reissannut tänne 22 päivää - ellei se tule maanantaina, annan palautetta. Toisen paketin saapuminen Saksasta taas kesti melkein kaksi viikkoa. (Ja kyllä, sää, Finnairin lakko ja jouluruuhka, tiedän.)
I feel like I'm trapped in a time machine. It's Christmas next weekend! Where does the time go? It jst disappears. Apparently the parcels in the mail steal time because they are in no hurry to arrive, instead my days just fly by so that I don't even notice. Usually my orders from European stores arrive in 3-5 days but now one order from Play.com has been on its way for 22 days - if it doesn't come on Monday I'll send some feedback. Another order from Germany took almost two weeks to arrive. (And yes, the weather, tons of snow, the short airline strike and the Christmas rush, I know.)
Ensimmäinen aikamatkustajan värinen sukka on sentään valmis. Knit Picksin Felici on ihanan pehmeää ja mukavaa. Nyt vain toivon, että pienen leikkaa ja solmi -operaation jälkeen toinen kerä riittää yhtä pitkälle kuin ensimmäinenkin... Kissakin ehti jo avustaa välillä ja jäystää langan poikki ennen kantapäätä.
The first sock in the Time Traveler colourway is done anyway. Knit Picks Felici is lovely and soft. Now I just hope that after a small cut and knot operation the second ball will match the first... The cat managed to assist already and chewed the yarn broken before the heel.
