Thank you, thank you

I have a Wish List on Amazon.co.uk to which I occasionally add books. There's a link to the list on the main page of the knitting section of my web site and I think people rarely notice it because I guess most of them come directly to my blog.

However, there is at least one person who noticed the link. When I came home one day this week, a packet from Amazon waited for me and this is what I found to my surprise:

The Folk Vests book by Cheryl Oberle is great. It contains 25 vest patterns from around the world with accompanying stories. They're so beautiful! There are vests with cables and fairisle patterns, different vests, simple vests, complicated vests... This was a wonderful surprise.
