Traveling yarn

We're planning a trip to Riga, or maybe to Prague, later this spring. I'd like to go to Iceland (don't ask me why!) but Jussi hasn't been that interested... He'd prefer, for example, Ireland. Ireland, Iceland, the names are almost the same anyway. Oops, I take that back, I'd love to travel to Ireland as well.

So we went to Matka 2005, The Finnish International Travel Fair on Saturday hoping to find something. I think Jussi's now a bit more interested in Iceland... But we're going to Riga anyway. Or to Prague. Most likely Riga. Any hints on yarn shops are greatly appreciated!

Talking about yarn, look what I found from the domestic side of the fair! Yarn! It was 5 euros / 100 g skein, pure wool, in natural colours. I didn't have any money left so I just got one brown skein. I think this was from the Hailuoto stand.

Under the skein is the Fishermen's Sweaters book by Alice Starmore. It was about time it arrived! I ordered it on November 10th and it came on Friday! That's what you get when you order used books, part II: sometimes they're delivered in few days and sometimes it takes several weeks.

I like the book, though.
