No more pining for the Fjord
Are you tired of that Monty Python inspired line? Well, this is probably the last time you'll see it. The Fjord sweater is ready!
I chose to knit a polo collar. Actually, I did make the turtle collar first, because I liked the idea of continuing the cable in the collar, and then I knitted an extension.
The biggest problem of a polo collar was indeed the cable. Even though I had reversed the pattern and turned the wrong side right and vice versa, the cable twists would still have been upside down when compared to the front and back.
I still had yarn, so I decided to try a separate piece! I knitted a tube with the cable and attached that to the turtle collar. So, now I have a polo collar with a cable going to the right direction, but I could also return to the turtle collar, too.

I've been so busy that I haven't had time to say thank you, but thank you for the compliment! The sweater is nice and warm, I tested it on Monday and Tuesday.
oh, it looks lovely!! must be really nice to wear :) I like the polo collar, the continued cable looks really good!
