Jakriborg - a new "medieval" town

A town called Jakriborg (click Bilder for photos) has been built to Hjärup in Sweden. Hjärup is close to the city of Lund, which dates from 13th century. Jakriborg is built in medieval style using modern materials and modern building techniques. The houses resemble houses in medieval Hanseatic towns, but Jakriborg is not an actual reconstruction of a medieval town. The houses are not for sale, but you can rent them. The monthly rent is ca. 900 SEK (ca. 100e, ca. 125 USD), per square meter. Similar town exists in UK and is called Poundbury.
